Tirian was the last monarch of the Kingdom of Narnia and the seventh king in descent of Rilian, son of Caspian X. Tirian was preceded by his father Erlian.
[edit] Biography
Tirian was in his early twenties during the Calormene Conquest of Narnia. Absent during the Cair Paravel Massacre he could not act as the head of the Narnian Army. Begging the former Kings and Queens for help while captive, he lost consciousness and awoke ten minutes later to find Eustace Scrubb and Jill Pole. The two were sent by Aslan to help him defend Narnia.
Tirian, Jill, and Eustace rescued Jewel the unicorn and Puzzle the donkey from a dungeon. After doing so Tirian tried to slay Puzzle because he had acted as Aslan at Shift's order. Jill stopped him saying it was not his fault.
Riding to Stable Hill they saw many Narnians waiting before a stable. Confronting Shift the ape they were forced to fight against a force of Calormene Soldiers. While Jewl was killed and Eustace and Jill brought to the stable Tirian successfully tried to lure Risda Tarkaan to the stable in order to kill him there.
As both were inside the stable Tash appeared and took Risda Tarkaan into his country for punishment. Tirian was left alone and found himself in a land more beautiful than Narnia. He met there Peter, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, Digory Kirke, Polly Plummer and the deceased Eustace and Jill.
[edit] Personality
His best friend was the unicorn Jewel; they have saved each other's lives countless times.
