I had a quick question regarding Shift's deceit and how far it went. I know he fooled many of the Narnians and Calormenes, but does this include other beings of magic as well? Like say[1]nymphs, hags, fairies, witches, sea people, or deities like River Gods and such? I mean I wouldn't think that the magical beings would have believed or have been fooled by him. Though not stated in the story, but if Ramandu was still around, I am pretty sure he would have known that Shift was full of it. Moran half valar (talk) 15:54, July 25, 2019 (UTC)

I'm not sure. I don't recall any mention of them being tricked by Shift, though there was a scene where a Dryad came in and died, due to her tree being burned by one of the dragons that came to destroy all Narnia because it was the end of the world.  Maybe all the magical beings were too busy dealing with them, or Aslan simply took them away to his country.  As far as I'm aware; no one had any contact with the sea people since they were described as being a violent people and lived too far out in the sea for anyone to reach them, there weren't anymore witches since the Lady of the Green Kirtle was killed, the last Hag was killed in Prince Caspian, and there were no fairies in Narnia.    Storyseeker1 (talk) 16:54, July 26, 2019 (UTC)

So he had no spoils from any magical beings. Just Narnians right? Moran half valar (talk) 21:23, July 26, 2019 (UTC)

As far as I know, though I would have to re-read the book to confirm.    Storyseeker1 (talk) 22:22, July 26, 2019 (UTC)
