Shane Rangi

Shane Rangi (born February 3, 1969) is a New Zealand actor from Ngati Porou. He plays the characters Otmin, Asterius, Tavros in the Disney Films. In the 2005 film of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, he plays the bad Minotaur Otmin who serves the White Witch. In the 2008 film of Prince Caspian, he plays a good minotaur named Asterius who fights with the Old Narnians against King Miraz. In the 2010 film of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, he will play another minotaur named Tavros, who is part of the crew in the Dawn Treader. He featured in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy (as the "Witch-king of Angmar" "Easterling NCO" and Harad mûmakil 'driver') and was also a stunt performer.
