Oreius was a Centaur and the general of Aslan's Army against the evil White Witch during the Hundred-Year Winter.
He helped to rescue Edmund, and trained him and his to-be-king brother Peter to use a sword. He was first encountered at Aslan's Camp near the Stone Table.
Oreius was loyal to Aslan, and helped Peter form a strategy at the Battle of Beruna after Aslan's death. He had three swords that he used during the Battle of Beruna. Oreius took down General Otmin of the White Witch's Army, and even confronted the White Witch herself, but she turned him to stone before he could harm her.
However, Oreius was later seen at the coronation of the Pevensie children, for he had been un-petrified by Aslan's healing breath shortly there afterwards.

- Oreius was played by Patrick Kake in the Disney and Walden media film of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
- Oreius is not in the books.
Oreius is the direct ancestor of Glenstorm , a Centaur that served under Caspian X
