The Order of the Lion was a Narnian honorary title of nobility, similar to an English knighthood.

It was founded by Peter who, at Aslan's command, first gave the knighthood to Caspian X, after the Second Battle of Beruna, who then passed the knighthood to Trufflehunter, Trumpkin, and finally Reepicheep. Upon Caspian's death, the knighthood was then passed down to his son, Rilian.

The Order of the Lion was not given to every leader of Narnia, only to those who proved themselves specifically to Aslan.

King Tirian was the last king to receive knighthood to this order.
