Christopher Pevensie is the head of the Pevensie family, husband to Helen Pevensie, and the father of Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie.
Biography[]
Christopher Pevensie, a professor, may or may not have had a sister who became Alberta Scrubb, as the exact relationship between the Pevensies and the Scrubbs is unclear.
At some time, he married his wife, Helen Pevensie. In 1927, their son Peter was born, followed by Susan in 1928, Edmund in 1930, and Lucy in 1932.
Christopher was called away to World War II, which lasted from 1939 to 1945. During this time, many children in Britain were evacuated from cities to rural areas to escape the bombing raids by Nazi Germany. This is how Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy ended up staying with Professor Kirke, who owned a large house with a wardrobe that led to Narnia. It is unknown when Christopher returned home.
In 1942, Christopher traveled to America to lecture at universities there, taking Helen and Susan with him. At the same time, Peter was staying with Professor Kirke again, studying for his exams, while Edmund and Lucy were staying with their Aunt Alberta, Uncle Harold and cousin Eustace Scrubb.
In 1949, while on a trip to visit family, Christopher, Helen, Peter, Edmund, and Lucy were all killed in a train wreck, leaving Susan as the sole survivor of the Pevensie family.
