Mabel Kirke

Mabel Kirke née Ketterley was the mother of Digory Kirke and sister to Andrew Ketterley and Letitia Ketterley. During the middle of her life, she acquied a chronic illness and her young son became extremely concerned with her well-being. In his adventures in the world of Narnia, Digory took a silver apple back to Earth and upon eating the magic fruit, it only took a few weeks until Mabel was feeling better. In fact, she was eventually cured of this supposedly terminal illness. She reappeared in Aslan's Country where she reunited with Digory.
