Hags along with
Minotaurs,
Ogres,
Boggles, and
Werewolves were considered one of
Narnia's darkest races. Hags were known for their supernatural elements. They were known to resurrect dark spirits from death. Hags were followers of the
White Witch, and help to bind
Aslan to the
Stone Table. A Hag later attempted to bring back the ghost of the
Jadis through sorcery. She had a "shrill, whining voice", and called herself a "poor old woman". Her nose and chin stick out "like a pair of nut-crackers", and she had dirty grey hair. She is killed in a battle along with the
werewolf and
Nikabrik.
In the Disney films, hags are portrayed as bird-like creatures with beaks, and talons. In the 2005 film, four Hags were only mentioned where they were seen in corners as they tap their sticks when the Witch begins to stab Aslan. In the 2008 film, the hag was killed when Peter throws her into a rock wall. She is portrayed by Klara Issova.

In the video game, the hag is the boss and she uses her power to let
Jadis approach to
Caspian X. When Peter and Edmund arrive to the rescue, the hag is guarded by the werewolf and Nikabrik who will both come on each side to attack them. After they leave, Peter or Edmund will have to grab a rock and hit the hag five times to stop the
Witch from touching the blood of the young prince. After killing the werewolf and the
dwarf, the hag will throw fire balls at the two young heros and they have to be careful. The hag was immediately killed after throwing the final rock.
