Gorillas are one of the largest apes, and also ground-dwelling omnivores in the world of Narnia. They are very intelligent and strong, and are loyal beasts to Aslan. Their fur color is usually dark brown or black.
Gorillas move around by knuckle-walking, although they sometimes walk bipedally for short distances while carrying food, or in defensive situations if they have to fight an enemy, though Gorillas can run faster with their arms and legs.
It's very likely that these apes live in the land of Narnia, but it's possible that they inhabit the forests, as Gorillas tend to swing from trees, and they enjoy to eat fruits including bananas.
