Giants' Bridge

The Giants' Bridge was a stone bridge built by the ancient giants who also built the Ruined City of the Giants. The bridge spanned the gorge that bordered the northen edge of Ettinsmoor. Eustace Scrubb, Jill Pole and Puddleglum crossed the bridge while on their quest to find Prince Rillian. However, by this time, the bridge had fallen into disrepair and there were horrible holes in the bridge where some of the stones had fallen out. The reason for this could be age, and the fact that the bridge had not been used since the Ruined City was abandoned. There were many carvings on it, some of which resembled Minotaurs.
