| Movie-based Information|
Cyclopes are a race of one-eyed creatures that appeared in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Their heights range to at least ten feet tall.
After the Long Winter ended, all the Cyclopes in the land of Narnia traveled to the Stone Table, to gather as soldiers in the White Witch's Army. They were first seen in the White Witch's camp, where they were preparing for Battle, with the Ogres, Hags, Boggles, Dwarves, Minotaurs, Minoboars, Ghouls, and Ankle Slicers.
Apparently, the Cyclopes were not all bad, as there is a shot of one, which you can catch a glimpse of, working in Caspian X's forge in Prince Caspian.
Behind the Scene
- Cyclopes are common monsters from Greek mythology. Probably the most famous among them is Polyphemus, who was blinded by Odysseus in Homer's The Odyssey. Like in Narnia, mythological Cyclopes are not all bad. Cyclopes worked in the forges of the gods, where they forged many weapons, including Zeus's master bolt and Poseidon's trident.
