Caspian I
From WikiNarnia, the Narnian Encyclopedia
King Caspian I, also more commonly known as Caspian the Conqueror, was the King of Telmar, a land inhabited by a people of piracy who commonly raided ships from Calormen, Archenland and Narnia. Once Caspian I discovered the Narnians were in a state of anarchy without any remaining monarchs, due to the fact that the Earth monarchs disappeared, he mobilized the Telmarine army and attacked Narnia, defeating its army and killing many of the creatures who were native to the land. Many creatures became dumb to avoid death, and the Telmarine monarchs turned Narnia into a human land, attempting to destroy the past by letting forests grow on the coast, creating ideas of ghosts haunting the sea, and building a new capitol in the form of a castle, letting Cair Paravel become a island off the coast of the mainland by a strait. His people were returned to their original home on Earth by Aslan and his descendent, King Caspian X, who took back the throne from his uncle, the usurper King Miraz I.
