The Battle of Stable Hill, commonly known as the Last Battle, was the final fight to occur in the World of Narnia.
The Battle of Stable Hill took place during the Calormene Conquest after King Tirian was told by a messenger, Farsight, that his castle at Cair Paravel had fallen into Calormene hands. Tirian and his troops soon met a number of Calormenes soldiers at Stable Hill. The Mice, Moles, and a Squirrel went to free the Narnian Horses. During the battle, Jill Plole manages to kill some Calormene Soldiers, Wraggle the Satyr, and a Wolf while Eustace Scrubb kills Slinkey the Fox. Three Dogs and a Bear (who switched to Tirian's side) were also killed by the Calormene.
As the forces battled, dwarfs attacked both sides indiscriminately killing the Horses that the Calormene enslaved. After taking down some soldiers of the Calormen army, Tirian and his surviving allies fled toward the stable. Several warriors met their deaths to the vicious monster Tash who was kept inside the stable.
The very last skirmish of the conflict is sometimes referred to as Tirian's Last Stand. It was not an obvious victory to any one side because Aslan brought the world to an end in the very midst of the battle, destroying both sides and transferring many of the fighters into his country.
