Andrew Adamson

Andrew Adamson is a film director. He directed the first two Disney/Walden Narnia films, and co-produced the third film, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

He is also a director/producer of the Shrek films. Adamson has admitted to being a longtime fan of the Narnia Chronicles. He as also stated that he directed the films according to his interpretation and imagination of them as an eight-year-old boy.

Trivia

• Coincidentally, his last name, Adamson, is a composite of the phrase, 'Son of Adam', a name used in the Narnia Universe to refer to humans.
• The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was his live-action directorial debut.
